Welcome!
We are pleased to announce the birth of an exciting new style of conference to celebrate the imminent merger of the ACC and CMGS, at the International Convention Centre (ICC) In Birmingham City Centre. This inaugural conference will mirror the direction of travel for modern NHS genetic diagnostics by theming sessions to reflect the patient pathways we serve, bringing cytogenetics and molecular genetics fully together. By condensing the two Spring conferences into one, we hope to create a very high quality and exciting programme of invited and proffered presentations with cutting edge biotechnology sector trade exhibitions and presentations.
Themed sessions will include Molecular Pathology, Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Pathology, Developmental Disorders, Haemato-oncology, Clinical Bioinformatics, NHS Leadership and Strategy and Service Developments/New Technologies. Guest speakers will include Professor Andrew Read, Professor Mark Hughes, Dr Matt Hurles, Dr Joris Veltman and Professor Sir John Burn. There will be considerable opportunity for programming professional body and commercial satellite meetings. We will also take the opportunity at the event to celebrate the histories and achievements of the ACC and CMGS.
