How to walk to The ICC from New Street Station.
Birmingham lies at the heart of the UK, and both Birmingham and The ICC are easily connected by all forms of transport, locally, nationally and internationally, with direct access by rail, road and air to over 400 million people in Europe.
By plane: More than 38 scheduled airlines link Birmingham International Airport to 75 centres in the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
By train: The ICC is minutes from Birmingham New Street, the UK’s largest interchange rail station, currently undergoing a major £600 million redevelopment. The proximity of the train station coupled with excellent connections means that many delegates choose to travel by rail rather than car. Direct regular services connect London (90mins), Edinburgh (4h 20mins), Cardiff (2h) and most principal towns and cities throughout the UK.
By car: Birmingham’s motorway network connects every part of the UK via the M5,M6, M40 and M42. The ICC has over 2,500 parking spaces, with another 5,000 within an easy walk.
